We're the no-faff curators of proper adventures worldwide. Expert local guides, vetted routes, sensible groups, zero headaches. So you can just show up, get stuck in, and leave with stories worth telling (and probably a few new mates).
Whether you're after a gentle harbour paddle to shake off the week or a multi-day beast that tests what you're made of, we make it easy and real. No pretence, no coach parties, just decent days out.
Why "Here Now"?
Our logo features the Japanese character 今 (pronounced "ima") - it simply means "now."
It's a straightforward nudge: the best moments happen when you're actually in them. Not replaying yesterday or stressing tomorrow. Right here, right now. That could mean sharing a laugh mid-hill, earning a summit view the hard way, or just feeling the wind instead of a screen.
We built the brand on that: adventures that drop you fully into the experience. That's where the real good stuff happens.

Here Now Adventures is straightforward: we scout and partner with top local experts around the world to deliver adventures worth doing. No bloated agency vibes, no generic trips. Just hand-picked routes, solid guiding, and groups that click.

The Team
We're three cofounders who live for the outdoors. We've spent years chasing summits, paddling coasts, grinding through gruelling multi-stage mountain bike events and getting equally muddy, happy, and sore.
Between us we've notched multi-day treks, ultra runs, wild camping "lessons", and plenty of "that was a bad idea" moments. Enough to know what makes a great day out (and what to avoid). We're not posing as pros; we're just passionate guys who love sharing the good stuff and making sure everyone feels capable and included.
That's why we started Here Now: to curate adventures that feel real, fun, and accessible, so more people can get out there and have their own brilliant time.
Steve
Shaping the vision and voice of Here Now Adventures. Getting into ultra running, happiest hiking or getting lost on purpose. (That's me with the hat.)
Derek
Keeping the engine running commercially and operationally. Trail runner, mountain biker and angler. (That's also me with the hat)
Donavan
Shaping how each adventure feels on the ground. A mountain biking-mad racing snake who lives for pace, flow and the occasional quiet cast on the water.
